Welcome to the “Determining Artemis Launch Windows” webinar, the eighth session in the Space 101 series. Hosted by the Coalition for Deep Space Exploration, the series aims to provide an understanding of the fundamentals of the technology needed to return to the Moon and answer questions surrounding NASA’s Artemis I mission.

The webinar took place on August 12 via WebEx, and covered topics such as the complex orbital mechanics of launching on a precise trajectory to the Moon, the key test flight objectives affecting mission timing, and the process of obtaining a launch slot on the range.
