• The lunar mining gold rush is coming and success requires bridging two worlds

  The space mining market is estimated to reach $20 billion by 2025, with potential resources of value on the Moon including water ice, Helium 3 and the regolith itself as a construction asset. But there are challenges, perhaps key challenges that space startups must address due to a lack of experience in the field. The best way to address the challenges may well be in forming partnerships that combine mining expertise with space access, explains Stirling Forbes, CEO of Forbes Space, in an opinion piece.
