Major Space-Related Activities for the Week
- A major event this week is NASA’s announcement of the astronaut crew assigned to the Artemis III mission planned for 2027 that will launch four astronauts on a mission to demonstrate rendezvous and docking operations in Earth orbit with one and possibly both of the lunar Human Landing Systems (HLSs) in development by SpaceX and Blue Origin. The announcement is planned by NASA for Tuesday at 11 a.m. EDT with virtual access on NASA’s YouTube channel..
