  • The Moon or Mars? It must be both!
As he was inaugurated on Capitol Hill in Washington on Monday, President Trump called for the human exploration of Mars, as well as the return of human explorers to the Moon, to be led by the United States ahead of emerging rivals.
  • We need a National Space Council to chart our future in outer space
According to space law expert James E. Dunstan, the U.S. needs a revitalized National Space Council to ensure cohesive leadership and bipartisan collaboration in shaping the nation’s space policy. Dunstan argues that the council is essential to address regulatory gaps, counteract overreach by federal agencies, and guide the development of a sustainable outer space economy. He emphasizes that the council can restore focus on advancing space exploration for the benefit of all Americans, beyond the influence of individual stakeholders.
