We take the time today to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives to further human knowledge through space exploration. These explorers made the ultimate sacrifice, and we are both inspired by and thankful to them. As our nation takes the next steps to explore deep space, we will never forget those who gave their lives in these endeavors.
