1. From Spaceflightnow.com: The Atlantis astronauts undergo safety training for NASA’s final space shuttle mission. The lift off of Atlantis on a 12-day supply mission to the International Space Station is tentatively set for July 8. 2. From Fox News: Veteran NASA astronaut Mark Kelly, who commanded the final flight of shuttle Endeavour in May, says he will retire from NASA and the Navy on Oct. 1, ending 25 years of public service.  Kelly says he will assist his wife, Arizona congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, in her recovery. Giffords was critically wounded when a shooting spree erupted at a Jan. 8th a legislative gathering for constituents in Tucson.
