The Coalition For Deep Space Exploration Announces Leadership Transition
Dr. Mary Lynne Dittmar Named Board Director Emerita After 5 Years as President and CEO
WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Coalition for Deep Space Exploration (Coalition) announced today that Dr. Mary Lynne Dittmar will be stepping down as president and chief executive officer by the end of the year. The Coalition’s board has begun an extensive search for candidates within the aerospace industry. Dr. Dittmar will continue to serve as president and CEO of the Coalition until new leadership is appointed.
“Mary Lynne is a transformational leader,” said Charles Precourt, a member of the Coalition’s Board of Directors. “During her tenure, the Coalition saw exponential growth in membership while advancing awareness of and support for our national space exploration efforts among the public and policy makers alike. We sincerely thank her for her leadership and are thrilled that she will be continuing to advise the organization as a member of the Board.”
