WASHINGTON, D.C. (December 17) – The Coalition for Deep Space Exploration (CDSE) congratulates Jared Isaacman on his confirmation as the new NASA Administrator. He joins a long history of leaders at NASA that have guided the agency as it pushes the boundaries of human space exploration. His confirmation comes at a pivotal time for the agency.

“CDSE looks forward to working closely with Mr. Isaacman to advance American leadership in space,” said CDSE President and CEO Allen Cutler. “The Artemis program remains the nation’s best path to returning astronauts to the Moon and establishing a sustainable American presence there. In this era of renewed global competition, we share Mr. Isaacman’s sense of urgency and commitment to ensuring the United States leads the way, not just in reaching the Moon ahead of China, but in building a foundation for future exploration.”

For decades, NASA and the American space industry have partnered to build a national space program that is respected and admired around the world. That enduring collaboration is the backbone of the Artemis program today and will remain essential to its success in the years ahead.

CDSE appreciates Mr. Isaacman’s commitment to Artemis and his recognition that we should fly the planned Artemis missions to get Americans back to the lunar vicinity as soon as possible. The companies of the Coalition for Deep Space Exploration stand ready to work with the Administrator to make that happen and build on the strong foundation established across multiple administrations to return Americans to the Moon.
