NASA astronaut and space station crew member, Don Pettit, is cranking out video that examines how microgravity affects scientific principles.
The series is called “Science Off the Sphere” – physics experiments performed on the International Space Station using everyday objects.
NASA and the American Physical Society have partnered to share the videos with students, educators and science fans around the world.
For example, check out: “Dancing Droplets”; “Lenses and Vortices”; “Earth in Infrared”; or “Space Soundwaves”.
