Welcome to the Science for Artemis I and Beyond webinar, the second session in the Space 101 series. Hosted by the Coalition for Deep Space Exploration, the series aims to provide an understanding of the fundamentals of the technology needed to return to the Moon and answer questions surrounding NASA’s upcoming Artemis I mission.
The Science for Artemis I and Beyond webinar took place on March 4 at 12:00p.m.- 1:00p.m. ET and covered topics such as the secondary payloads that are being launched on Artemis I, and how NASA’s Space Launch System can further enable us to search for life and send spacecraft farther out into deep space faster than ever before.

- Dr. Heidi Hammel, Vice President for Science at the Association of Universities for Research and Astronomy (AURA).
- Dr. Ralph McNutt, chief scientist for Space Science at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory.
- Dr. Kimberly Robinson, CEO and Executive Director at U.S. Space & Rocket Center, and former Utilization Manager for Advanced Exploration Systems at NASA.
