A former NASA engineer, flight director and space shuttle program manager, Wayne also served as NASA’s Deputy Associate Administrator for Strategic Partnerships until 2010. He is the recipient of NASA’s Space Flight Awareness Leadership Award, the Outstanding Leadership Medal, the Exceptional Service Medal and numerous NASA Group Achievement awards.
