Jeannie is currently Director of Strategic Relations at Jacobs Technology.  She joined Jacobs in August 2008 and is responsible for Jacobs Technology’s strategic relations efforts, including business development, marketing, and government and external relations as it relates to all of their NASA contracts (10 contracts spread across 8 of the 10 NASA centers) and other space related business, including commercial, international and defense.

Prior to joining Jacobs, she was the External Communications & Advocacy Manager at United Space Alliance for over ten years. There she managed all external communications efforts, marketing communications, advocacy and supported their Washington D.C. and Business Development offices in their initiatives.

At United Space Alliance, she developed and managed the Space Shuttle Advocacy Team and developed and implemented many advocacy campaigns including Return to Flight, Space Shuttle Upgrades, 2010 Texas Space Economic Outlook, and Workforce 2010, a regional educational initiative to build our space industry educational outreach programs in an effort to develop the pipeline of students pursuing STEM to fulfill workforce 2010 needs.

Jeannie has served in the NASA/space communications and external relations arena for over 20 years. She was a member of the early space advocacy organizations such as Space Week and Keep It Sold (Space Station), and has over the years, led many efforts and campaigns in support of space exploration, human spaceflight and NASA including supporting the founding Chair of the Coalition for Space Exploration PA Team, Jeff Car, for the initial 3 years of the effort (informally as the “co-chair”).
