Steve leads the Moog Space and Defense Group business development and strategy efforts for Civil Space and NASA Programs, which includes its deep space exploration efforts. Moog has been involved with the US space program since the 1960’s, and is a controls company that provides components and systems for propulsion, flight control, mechanical manipulation, manned environments, and vibration and shock mitigation. Moog is a valued partner in launch vehicles, satellites and spacecraft for manned and unmanned space missions serving the Defense, Civil and Commercial marketplace.

Space has been in Steve’s blood since watching the first men in space while he built and launched model rockets with his brothers and friends. He has degrees in electronics and business administration, and he started his career working on power electronics, which included NASA’s Space Shuttle program. He spent time working in the audio industry and has worked at Moog for over 20 years dedicating his time and passion to its space endeavors in the US and international marketplace.

Service and children’s education are very important to Steve. Along with serving on the board of education for his local school district, he sits on the American Astronautical Society Education Committee, works with his church youth group and assists with the high school swimming team. He is a member of the AIAA and AAS, sits on the Civil Space committee at AIA, and is a member of the Lions Club.

Steve lives in Attica, NY with his wife Jean and daughters Kathryn and Nina. He enjoys outdoor activities like cycling and skiing with his family and friends and working on projects at is small farm in western New York.
