NASA’s final shuttle missions are paying tribute to the musical alarm clock, a long standing tradition in Mission Control of waking up the astronauts each day with the strains of a popular song often picked by the family, friends and co-workers of the fliers.
Controllers are asking the public for help in selecting the wake up music for the last two days of shuttle Endeavour’s final flight, a 14-day mission to the International Space Station.
Help by listening to 10 candidates selected from 1,350 original  compositions written for the occasion and casting an electronic ballot. See which songs are the most popular.
NASA will announce the winning tunes during Endeavour’s  flight, which is currently scheduled for an April 19 lift off.
The contest debuted during Discovery’s final mission, Feb. 24 to March 9
